Description:
Sunrise symbolizes a fresh start, akin to a blank sheet of paper. Using silkscreen printing, I crafted an 11-page journal/calendar, using sunrise colors and the Japanese book binding method, and marked my and my significant others' birth dates and times. Classical Chinese characters and zodiac signs represent these details, complemented by digital numbers.
Within the journal, I featured the birth information of key individuals who shaped my life: my mom, a friend, myself, and my younger sister, arranged by age. On the penultimate page, I incorporated symbols representing "myself" alongside significant people, emphasizing the importance of personal choices.
The final page marks the completion of my current life cycle, signifying a journey into the undiscovered future, and translating the word "calendar" into three different words.
